Prof. Dr. Sinan Tozoğlu a dentist, continues his work in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has held academic positions at Atatürk University Faculty of Dentistry, including Bologna coordinator and Erasmus and Mevlana programs. In 2011, he contributed to the establishment of Akdeniz University Faculty of Dentistry, served as vice dean, and chaired the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has served as a member of the Akdeniz University Senate and in various coordinator roles.

He has provided training and consultancy to both dentistry students and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery assistants.

He has published widely in international journals in Türkiye, the US, and the UK, and these publications have received numerous citations. He continues to serve on the editorial boards and as a reviewer for scientific journals.

He has been invited to domestic and international scientific meetings and made presentations.

He has been involved in facial transplants involving teeth and jaws.
